3. You chose your discipline because you love it.
   1. Remember your “why” – why you chose the field you did, and share that enthusiasm
4. Prepare adequately
   1. Prepare as if you are delivering to a conference but…
   2. Deliver as if you were telling your best friend about the one topic you got most excited about over coffee!

Assessment

Now that you have your outline and presentation prepared, rehearse it a few times. Does it meet the CCMM requirements? Does it connect to your linchpin? Is it natural and does it flow well? This is always a challenge! But remember, you are the master educator – you know the information better than anyone else, which is why you are here! Don’t let the minutiae distract you.
