Hi, my name is Jon Haws, RN. I’m the CEO and Founder of NRSNG and I’m so excited that you’re here! I wanted to welcome you personally to the NRSNG family! We want to tell you a little bit about who we are as a company and what we stand for. Then we’ll dive into training you on our pedagogy and teaching philosophies and teaching methods.

So, who are we? NRSNG is the premier fully integrated, multimodal, learner focused, SaaS education platform for nursing and allied health that delivers mastery via linchpins and the Core Content Mastery Method. SaaS stands for “Software as a Service” – which just means that we provide services through our software, as opposed to in-person.

We help nurses and allied health professionals to save time, reduce information overload, achieve clarity, and obtain content mastery, confidence and peace of mind.

So, I started NRSNG in 2015 with a desire to give nursing students resources that I felt like I was missing in school. I wanted to make nursing school easier and share things I had learned. That evolved into the first version of NRSNG Academy, which we launched in 2016.

Since then we’ve had thousands and thousands of students using NRSNG Academy from all over the globe. We have learners in every continent except Antarctica!

We launched NRSNG Academy 2.0 in July 2018 with hundreds and hundreds of lessons, thousands and thousands of resources, and truly we’re just getting started!

You know, when I went to nursing school, I would’ve given anything to have teachers that actually gave a damn. So it’s just so awesome that you’re here wanting to learn and wanting to be a part of making a difference for these students!

In the next videos we’ll talk more about our mission and how you play a role in that, but we really want you to know that it’s all about YUS! You, Us, and the Student.

We believe healthcare professionals deserve the best. So with the best teachers (that’s You!), the best teaching methods (Us!) and the best students, we believe we can create the next generation of healthcare professionals that are educated and engaged. We’re so excited about that and we’re so glad you’re here to be a part of it!

So, welcome to the family! Thank you so much for being here! We’re excited to get to know you. We’re excited to teach you our methods. And we’re excited to unlock your knowledge and your passion as an educator!

Now, as we say to all of our students at the end of every video – go out and be your best self today – and Happy Nursing!
