- Causes of jaundice
- Increased bilirubin
- Hepatic failure or Liver failure
- Liver failure–> bilirubin can not be broken down and excreted the way that it should be
- Biliary tract disease
- Gall bladder disease
- Unconjugated or Indirect Bilirubin
- Bilirubin and albumin
- Become conjugated/direct in liver and then move to gallbladder–> This can not occur in liver disease/failure
- Increased unconjugated bilirubin
- Liver disease
- Hepatic failure
- Increased conjugated bilirubin levels
- Gall bladd
