  1. 12 Lead EKG: Injuries
    1. Inferior wall injury
      1. ST-elevation means injury has occurred (most times)
      2. ST depression means there is ischemia
    2. Anterior-septal wall injury
      1. V1, V2, V3
        1. No R wave present, likely previously infarcted (no ST elevation) or currently infarcting (ST elevation)
    3. When looking at EKG…
    4. First check inferior leads 2, 3, and aVF = look at inferior wall first
        1. ST elevations seen
          1. Inferior wall MI
        2. ST depressions seen
          1. Inferior wall MI –> could be ischemia (ST depressions usually mean ischemia) or it is called reciprocal change
            1. Reciprocal changes should be gone in 24 hours–> if not than = ischemia
        3. Lateral wall MI
          1. ST elevation v5-v6
