  1. 12 Lead EKG: Leads 1, 2, 3, aVL, & aVF
    1. “+” or “-” regarding electrical charge of heart
      1. Positive lead = left arm, left leg
      2. Negative lead = arm
    2. Lead monitoring
      1. Lead 1, aVL -> view inferior wall of heart
    3. To read a hemi-block
      1. Electrical current goes through L bundle first -> through ventricular anterior septal wall -> then through right bundle
      2. ‘Deviations’ of the direction of electrical current
        1. Right axis deviation = S wave dips down far in Lead 1 and aVL
        2. Left axis deviation = S wave dips down far in Lead 2, 3, and aVF
