Definition/Etiology:

• Gastroesophageal reflux= acid moves back into esophagus
• Diabetic gastroparesis= digestion affected in stomach
• Ileus= peristalsis stalled
• Obstruction= peristalsis stopped
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome= digestion and peristalsis affected
