    1. Cardiac symptoms
      1. Caused by adrenaline released by adrenal medulla -> cause liver to convert glycogen into glucose (to bring blood sugar up)
      2. High HR
      3. Palpitations
      4. Diaphoretic
      5. Irritable and restless
    2. CNS symptoms
      1. Why?
        1. No glycogen available (ex: alcohol)
        2. Beta-blockers (no adrenaline -> no cardio signs)
      2. Brain cells die
        1. Confusion
        2. Lethargic
        3. Slurred speech
        4. Seizure
        5. Coma
        6. Death
