The GI tract contains the mouth, all oral salivary glands, the esophagus, stomach, small intestine (containing the duodenum, jejunum and ileum), the large intestine (the ascending, transverse, descending and sigmoid colon), the rectum and anus. It also includes the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas.
