2nd Degree Type I – Wenckebach – shows increasing PR intervals before a QRS is dropped. Type II – shows a prolonged PR with occasional dropped QRS beats. A 2:1 block cannot be differentiated between Type I and Type II because it’s impossible to know if the PR intervals would have been increasing before the dropped QRS
