Miriam has a Biology degree from Christopher Newport University and a diploma in nursing from Bon Secours Memorial School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse for a few years and then returned to receive her BSN and MSN from Aspen University. She has experience in med-surg nursing and over 9 years of OB nursing experience. Miriam loves to teach and make learning fun. She currently teaches OB nursing at a local college and has worked as a charge nurse and preceptor for students and new nurses on her unit. Miriam is nationally certified as a maternal newborn nurse.
